Caller said they were from EDF and they required my personnel information before they could talk to me, I refused, the caller was not happy and I ended the call. Have now changed my phone details on my electric account and phoned 0800 4080810 to remove m

Got a call from this number, from a company working on behalf of EDF and the call was to organise for an engineer to come out to my property and fit a smart meter. The guy I spoke to was lovely, I can't complain!

Aggressive impersonator pretending to be EDF and wanting to gain entry to your house for allegedly smart meter installation. Sounds like a scam. There were no documentation or any arrangements with EDF regarding this.

Called but it was hung up when I answered. I've seen the comment above that it is EDF. That would follow as I called them 3 days ago to cancel my billing due to house sale.
