woke me up at 7 45 am after only getting to sleep at 6 am telling me my computer was infected and he was calling from windows, I put the phone down on him.

This call I received at 08.15 in bed at time.Be aware they say they are from windows support just put phone down. I've had these ringing me on various times of the day . Always a foreign voice at the end of line go on your computer at your peril.
