Just been called by an Indian lady called Mrs carol asked my name and date of birth and bank name says I'll get a call back and gave me a reference number to give ...is this a scam!!! Should not be allowed! !!

Caller claimed he was from an organisation which helped to get back overcharging by banks. He refused to answered straightforward questions like which bank? when? how much? He put the phone down on me. Clearly a scammer wanting my bank details. Crook.

Received call yesterday. When I answered the line was open but no one spoke. Have put a call block on this number.

Called claiming to be a government advisory group working on a bank holiday! When I asked her to repeat the name of the department, she hung up.
